SIAMS (Statutory Inspection for Anglican and Methodist Schools) is an inspection to evaluate the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a church school.
Holywell C of E Primary School was judged to be 'good' at our most recent SIAMS in March 2020. You can read the full report below.
As a result of the findings from the SIAMS inspection, we are now working hard to:
- Ensure that the school vision is communicated more widely in the local community to ensure all are clear about its importance in the life of the school.
- Develop a more rigorous assessment system so that everyone understands progress in RE.
- Build on the success of the prayer space to develop reflection opportunities outside which enable all to further develop a personal response to God throughout the day.
