At Holywell, high quality teaching and learning is the very core of our mission, and our curriculum sits right at the heart of this. Our vision is to provide all of our children with an engaging, academically rigorous and broad-based curriculum that provides them with the skills and knowledge they need to be active, informed and confident citizens.
Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum 2014, but it many subjects we go further and deeper, reflecting the ambition we have for our children and our knowledge of what they are capable of.
Refining our curriculum offer and our approach to teaching and learning is always an ongoing project for us, as we seek to constantly develop and improve what we do.
Our Teaching, Learning, Feedback and Assessment Policy can be found below. This documents sets out what we believe to be best practice and is based on research and evidence drawn from reputable sources such as the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF).
