The theme for Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) 2026 is Read to the Beat, an adventure in stories, music and sound.

Children can sign up at their local library or mobile library from Saturday 4 July 2026, then:

• read six library books of their choice during the holidays
• collect a sticker for each book read from Saturday 18 July 2026
• receive a certificate and medal when they finish the challenge
